One of the first things I did after getting my IEMs was listen to Dangerous by Sleep Token, but for some reason I didn't think to listen to any of his other songs. Take Me Back To Eden on these is...an experience. There's parts of the song I havnt even heard before x3

NGL, I was kinda freaking out about the 2nd exam after how the first one went, so I wanted to be better prepaired. Between that and life I kept putting it off and off. But then when I started studying for it I'm like "wait, I know most of this already." So kinda stalled it out for nothing x3

I'm not so sure if it's because I have some incorrect sound settings on my speakers, but I intend to buy some IEMs dedicated for monitoring when I can so I can keep the ZB2s for everything else. Also the cable is shorter than I'd like for DJing, but otherwise I'm loving them.

So I bought a pair of Truthear Zero Blue2 IEMs to dip my toes into the IEM space. I intend use them mostly for listening on the go, but I also wanted to see how using an IEM as DJ monitors would be.
I effing love them. The detail they give me is far greater then what I was getting from my speakers.

And this isn't to say "boo Pioneer, Denon is so much better." But considering how big Pioneer/AT is in the DJ world, it surprises me that their software can't do the most basic thing of correctly analyzing a track. I'm sure there's other compatible software that works, but why is that the solution?

ATM it doesn't matter much, I only play on my own gear (in my bedroom), but I kinda feel adverse to going back to anything Pioneer or Alpha Theta bc I don't want to deal with the hassle of setting things up. Even after having to redo my whole library in EDJ recently, it wasn't that much hassle tbh.
