Out tonight to see NewDad supported by Cardinals at Chalk Brighton.

Saw Cork band Cardinals just a few weeks ago on the So Young tour and was well impressed and they were just as impressive tonight. Looking forward to their album.
Brògeal played their first album in its entirety and there's not a filler in their 60 minute set. A good mixture of out and out folk punk thrash and some sombre slow ones. Go see them and have a dance and a shimmy.
Out tonight to see Falkirk punk-folk band Brògeal at The Fighting Cocks in Kingston with Banquet Records
Ticketmaster messing up, surely not? Shocked and stunned, shocked and stunned.
I hate and loathe Tickemaster with a passion!
Some Idlewild from tonight's gig at Koko
Agree always thought they deserved a lot more attention.
Idlewild at Koko in Camden tonight, 90 minutes of uplifting smashers. So many big tunes to sing along to. Absolutely smashed it.
Out tonight to see Idlewild supported by Glasgow band Humour at Koko in Camden. I played Idlewild's first three albums to death, but managed to miss seeing them live, so really looking forward to this.
Haven't put anything up about a film in ages but I've just seen "I swear" and bloody hell that was good. Robert Aramayo and Maxine Peake deserve a truck full of awards. youtu.be/oeWqQN3snCU

The Last Dinner Party at Circuit Kingston 20 minutes of tracks from their new album. Well worth the trip.
Out tonight to Circuit Kingston to see The Last Dinner Party do their first album launch at an outstore with Banquet Records.
Rik Mayall in Fistful of Travellers' Cheques "you want soft toilet paper you go hotel...."
RIP Diane Keaton. Forever Annie Hall and "La-di-da, la-di-da, la-la."
Headliners tonight were Panic Shack on the second night of their UK tour. That are one of the best live bands around, its just heads down no-nonsense mindless boogie from start to finish. 17 tracks in just over an hour.
First up are The Disgusting Sisters an electro-pop-rock duo from the UK and France augmented by drums, guitar, and bass. If you like Shampoo - one for the youngsters - then you will like The Disgusting Sisters.
Out tonight at Chalk, Brighton to see Panic Shack and the Disgusting Sisters. Looking forward to this as Panic Shack we're bloody great at the Outcider festival back in August.
Headliners tonight at the Prince Albert were British Birds, a four-piece from Chorley who play a mix of indie and the best bits of 70s pub rock, mixed in with a bit of the B52s, and it works really well.p
Second support at the Prince Albert were The Roebucks. This was the 12th time I've seen them, and while they're still very very good, they do need to get some new songs into their set.
First up was William John Titus Bishop an ex-Brighton resident who is heavily influenced by Bob Dylan and has an unbelievable 1.1m followers on Instagram.
Out tonight to see British Birds supported by The Roebucks and William John Titus Bishop at the Prince Albert, Brighton.
Bargain. Where do I buy it? My version is worn through.
