September was a record-breaking month for the Network!

🎆 919 full genomic profiles and clinical data from 1,036 patients were added to our Gold Cohort, the biggest monthly jump ever!

This brings our total number of full genomes sequenced to 11,562 and of complete cases to 6,836!

Five pan-Canadian research teams will be the first to access data from our Gold Cohort after being selected for our Data Sharing and Use Pilot program.

The teams will accelerate precision oncology research, while testing and validating our data access and use protocols.

Summer and Terry were both diagnosed with osteosarcoma as young adults. Thanks to advances in research, Summer did not lose her leg, and if her cancer returns, her oncology team has another option to fight it: precision medicine.
