Probably the most important thing I learned en route to a degree in history is that nothing is inevitable. All the big picture events of history were shaped by the people that lived them. YOU CAN DO SOMETHING. So important these days.

My mom's middle class Michigan parents were able to buy her a horse, board the horse, and pay for riding lessons in the 70s. That's how my parents met actually.

I can't do the general strike next month and boycotting Walmart is not an option given my work. Already have nothing to do with Amazon products, intentionally. Looking for somewhere else I can boycott.
