OH thank GODDDDDDD someone else has noticed. the most cartoonishly vehement defenses of ai ive personally seen from seemingly very real people are probably gay communists who do have their own projects going on as well but will still INSIST that the only way to save artists is letting ai run us over

From the little ive dug the plot lowkey sounds nothing compared to pla. Which is incredibly sad given the years of buildup for whatever pokemon z was gonna be, and from the little ive playedal i have to say so far is its *cute*. Whould be a fun anime special

Your lowkey right but imo this is less a problem with the statement itself and more a problem w people tying together tech and art as an inseperable thing. Though they obv play into each other you can absolutely have 'bad' or primitive graphics and have striking art direction as well as the inverse.

Internet in general seems to inspire very all or nothing convos. Like yeah a movie or book isnt gonna save the world on its own but it doesnt *exist* on its own either. Thats like the whole point. Art was bever gonna stop vietnam or any big conflict but it sure as hell got people to notice and care
