Kalindra has no biological children (and most likely never will) BUT she has an adoptive daughter! Feather! 💕
A child with weird kinda eldritch magical powers she was supposed to catch for the Inquisition. Knowing what the Inquisition does to arcane anomalies she... kept her instead lol

Kalindra owns a brooch her father gifted her mother, it shows the crest of his noble family. His initials are on the back.

She's a bastard child and the consequence of a summer romance between her mother and a high-ranking inquisitor. He basically vanished afterwards, didn't even tell her his name.

Believe it or not but Kalindra ACTUALLY has a pet!
An adorable wolpertinger named "Krümel" (german for crumble/crumb). She got him when she was a child and they grew up together. He still lives at her family's manor since he's old now ❤️

i struggle with a brain that wants to stiffly copy whatever reference i'm using and one thing i've found helpful:
1. draw big blocky shapes over the reference
2. turn off ref and redraw big blocky shapes
3. draw in figure with big blocky shapes overlaid

Art friends: Here's a tip for getting rid of *a lot* of the AI slop in your Pinterest feed.

⭐Go into your account settings.
⭐Click the "Refine your recommendations" tab.
⭐Click the GenAI Interests subtab.
⭐TURN OFF EVERYTHING.

So far, my feed is *significantly* cleaner.
