AOC: The problem is that the Trump administration, they think that destroying our health care, making sure that housing is too expensive to live in, that jacking up the cost of our groceries—they think all of this is about hurting Democrats. What they are doing is hurting Americans

Unfortunately in the eyes of many she also represents corruption in the system. The fact she got rich after getting in office is, to many, evidence of Congress's corruption. Her husband is a stock broker so it doesn't seem suspicious to me. But i can understand why it would to others.

I would make the argument that when a tyrannical would-be-king tries to manipulate the law to become an autocrat, the only patriotic thing to do is rebel. The GOP loves to ask "what would the founding fathers say". Well...they literally rebelled
