long distances everyday for work. *It took 381 days* of vigorous boycotting after that to finally get the Supreme Court to rule segregation laws unconstitutional.

Now, we do have tech to our advantage (with some new disadvantages), so maybe it won't take over a year to see some meaningful 5/6

lot of organizing, mutual aid, etc. For instance, if I understand correctly, Rosa Parks sat in the front of the bus in Dec 1955. This sparked visibility, and led to the Montgomery bus boycotts in which black people made up some 80% of riders, and they organized car pooling or just walked super 4/6

We should only bump things up a notch if we are confident it will be very effective and we can keep it non-violent. Resistance efforts took YEARS of ongoing, continuous work and planning during the civil rights movement and required a lot of 3/6

Mass, multi-day protests are VERY effective iirc. And we don't get there by pissing people off. We don't have the numbers yet, so lets work on getting the gen pop engaged too and use the tools we have before blocking whole bridges and intersections without authorization, and barely making news. 2/6

I'm guessing they are reading into the labels the person uses. Is a Marxist a fascist? Because I'm pretty sure those are on opposite ends of the political spectrum. Fascism is super far right, and Marxist is very much on the left. But dictatorships can be either far right or far left.

pressure on our congresspeople and businesses. Individually our voices don't mean anything to the rich and powerful. Growing numbers at protests is harder to ignore. And individual protests grow, become recurring protests, and eventually multi-day mass protests. Why would you not support this?
