Reception were so excited to have their lunch in the dinner hall today with all the ‘big’ children! They did so well! 👏 we are proud of you Reception!
Y6 took part in an inspiring anti-racism workshop with Race Equality First.They asked thoughtful questions & discovered eye-opening truths. They learned that humanity is like a garden,it's our differences that make it colourful,strong & beautiful🌸Big chats,big hearts & big ideas for a fairer world 🌍
Dosbarth 2/3 made a variety of fruit smoothies this afternoon and really enjoyed tasting them! They especially liked trying the spinach, apple juice and raspberry flavour!🍓🍏🫐
3MW enjoyed an Anti Racism workshop this morning. We are going to design posters to share our fantastic ideas! 💡
Year 3CJ had a special and thought provoking workshop by Junior from Race Equality First. He spoke to us about how to be anti-racist and what to do to help stamp out racism when we see or hear it.

Dosbarth Mrs Johnson have really enjoyed their first session in the Forest School with Flo!

3MW have been showing racism the red card! We have learned about inspirational people like Betty Campbell and listened to stories like ‘My Hair’ and ‘Hey You’. We have celebrated difference.
In Nursery we have been celebrating its ok to be different by enjoying Todd Parr’s book and supporting showing racism the red card ❤️
On Thursday the children enjoyed an assembly from Atomic Adam from ‘Mad Science’.
Reception would like to thank Rachel from ICE Wales Trust for a fabulous assembly in our class about harvest and sharing food this morning! We really enjoyed it! The children have also been enjoying making patterns outside too this week!
