I just signed the contract for my second novel. This is going to be a big one. More details to come after the New Year, but gosh, I feel lucky as all hell I get to write another one. 🖤
Fuckin wicked witch of the West for real.
And with that, I must fall asleep smiling.

one year and everyone is so sick of your boy that Virginia is starting to look like Massachusetts and a democratic socialist won a million votes in NYC, get fucked
I’m always going to remember the night I signed the contract for my second novel as the night Zohran Mamdani—and so many other progressive candidates across the U.S.—won. It is a powerful night for so many reasons! The tide is turning.
Update: Gretchen Felker-Martin has been fired.
Zohran’s campaign was so effective, people all over the world wanted him to win and were heavily invested in a mayoral race in a city some had never even visited. He is the People’s Princess.

This issue is so personal to me. My family in Arkansas still relies on food stamps. I am so angry.
If it seems like I’m posting a lot about SNAP/the food crisis, it’s because I was a kid buying groceries at Family Dollar with physical food stamps. Opening the cabinet and finding only a can of diced tomatoes to feed my little brother. Eating sticks of butter and crackers for every meal.
A union leader just walked into my work and offered to host a food drive to help us fill backpacks for our kids and their families facing food insecurity this holiday season. 🥹
For people facing food insecurity, the need for help is always urgent.
Beautiful to see how people are coming together to support their communities in a time when their neighbors could starve. Heartbreaking that the work has to be done with such urgency. Continue this work even after the feeling of urgency is gone. Your community will always need you.

I deleted my account, recreated my account, deleted, remade, got banned by BlueSky, got unbanned… You’re probably not following this account. I’m a bit wishy-washy when it comes to social media. I believe I’m back for good. I have a lot to share soon.

Please repost to help folks find me again. 🖤

The Twisted Spine in NYC has been open less than 2 months and has already become a beloved fixture in the horror book community. On Oct. 30, they were hit by the remnants of Hurricane Melissa, which resulted in flooding. They need our help now! Please share far and wide: gofund.me/96586c695
