No not at all but danish authorities must be betting on that they do

For Denmark, this means its future F-35 squadrons won’t fly alone.
They’ll command semi-autonomous teammates — sensors, decoys, and strike platforms rolled into one.
A small-nation air force preparing for big-power warfare.

It’s effectively a race:
Anduril bets on AI and fast iteration.
General Atomics on experience and logistics.
Whoever integrates best with F-35 mission systems will dominate the new air-combat ecosystem.
4️⃣
🔹 Anduril’s “Fury” (YFQ-44A): software-first design focused on autonomy, rapid updates, and low-cost production. First flight expected soon.
🔹 General Atomics’ “Gambit” (YFQ-42A): builds on the MQ-9 heritage — proven airframes, industrial scale, and options for European assembly.

Two U.S. firms are frontrunners for Denmark’s future CCAs: Anduril and General Atomics — both shortlisted in the U.S. Air Force’s own CCA program.
Whoever wins there is highly likely to supply partner nations through Foreign Military Sales.

These so-called loyal wingmen can scout, jam, or strike under tactical control from the F-35 cockpit.
They’ll act as forward sensors or extra weapon platforms — extending range, awareness, and survivability.
In short: a human-machine team built for contested skies.

As part of Denmark’s new 88 billion DKK defense deal, one detail stands out. 🇩🇰✈️
“You can be my wingman anytime,” as the movie line goes — but this one flies without a pilot.
Denmark plans to buy Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) — unmanned drones designed to fly alongside F-35s.
Det MÅ komme senere…! Ellers er det skørt.
Denmark is preparing a new multi-billion defense deal — one of its biggest since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Ja, det lyder bekendt. Som jeg forstår det og har fået det forklaret, så er det fordi, der ikke er noget forsvarsmæssigt partierne er rigtigt uenige om. Derfor = ikke noget at diskutere
🇩🇰 For the first time ever, defense tops Danish public priorities.
According to a new poll, 15% of Danes now say national defense and international military operations are the most important issue - ahead of healthcare (14%), the economy (11%), and climate (9%).
