Just been on BBC Radio talking about the RSGB National Radio Centre winning The 2025 Sir Arthur Clarke Award for Space Achievement by an Education & Outreach Team last night at The British Interplanetary Society awards dinner rsgb.org/main/blog/ne...
I had the chance to give away a few points in the CQWW SSB contest as Mi1ACB from ‘the hill’ this weekend while I was in Northern Ireland with Mid Ulster ARC
It was great to meet many of @theRSGB Region 8 team and talk to lots of other visitors and friends at the Carrickfergus ARG Rally this weekend
A big thank you to Jamie Mi0KWZ and Philip Mi0MSO for their kind invitation to the Mid Ulster ARC 60th anniversary celebrations in Tandragee, NI and their amazing hospitality this weekend. It was great to see so many friends while I was there
Did you notice me say that a few times in the interview? 😀
I do my very best 😀
You’ll be sick of the sight of me in YouTube interviews telling everyone about the work of the RSGB in all the Hamfest videos. I focussed on our digital publications platform but told everyone about all the other things we are doing too. I needed plenty of coffee - as usual !
It was excellent 👍
Sorry Phil, I didn’t spot the mention. I’ve been rather busy at the National Hamfest. You are right that 2# calls should include an RSL Section 6.23 in www.ofcom.org.uk/siteassets/r...
Thank you. I have the advantage of working with a great team who are passionate about what we all do, but I’m very grateful for the suggestion that some of my leadership influences that path 😀 Honestly, I have to run fast to keep up with the team sometimes - and that makes it a really positive mix 👍
Just watched your interesting video about international membership and printed copies. Very interesting. I left a supporting comment - I hope you don’t mind
Very enjoyable visit to the www.bsears.co.uk rally in Bury St Edmunds today. Lots of people to see and chat to - and the weather was better than expected. Great to see everyone.

Thanks to Iain and Dave for running the RSGB stand.
Yes, I’ll be there with the team. Looking forward to it.
You should - and it’s been a while since we met in Newark when you were with @g7kna.co.uk
It was great to meet Colin M0XCA and many more from the Bracknell ARC G4BRA at the RSGB National Radio Centre yesterday. Maybe we will squeeze a photo into RadCom - who knows 😉
Back in the RSGB offices today, reflecting on a very successful and interesting visit to Dayton Hamvention
Arrived back at Heathrow after Dayton Hamvention 2025 and BA even managed to get my luggage on the same flight this time, which made a nice change.

Had an excellent and very productive trip.
Dayton Hamvention day 3 and coffee is dominating my breakfast plans - but my luggage has finally arrived.

A fantastic event, where we meet and exchange ideas with members, societies, manufacturers, dealers - people who are as passionate about amateur radio as we are
Still waiting for it
Preparing for day 2 of Dayton Hamvention 2025. The coffee is bigger today.

Had a fantastic day yesterday meeting so many people with very positive things to say about what we do at @theRSGB and enjoying demonstrating our new digital platform for members www.rsgb.org/radcom
I left London Heathrow on Wednesday to Cincinnati for Dayton - unfortunate my luggage did not. Thanks British Airways It’s now Saturday…

To misquote Tony Hancock (The Radio Ham) … ‘luggage’ all over the world - but none in this country
No, too busy on the stand for that 😀
Starting the day ready for Dayton #Hamvention 2025 on @theRSGB booth, demonstrating our new digital publishing platform for members rsgb.org/radcom #hamradio #hamr
