Just wanted to thank everyone who shares and likes the videos here or elsewhere! Please keep sharing and liking - especially given how wonky the youtube algorithm has been lately.
Bill here - Please check if you are in restricted mode on YouTube - especially if videos aren't showing up for you - here is how to do that - www.wikihow.com/Turn-Off-You...
That said, I’ve been hearing about recent censorship of NSFW games, often pushed by payment processors and I’m firmly against that kind of suppression. I support free speech and artistic expression even when the content isn’t to my taste. Critique is important but forced censorship isn’t the answer.
I've been replaying Dragon Age: Origins for my Rogue Solo Run and wanted to share a quick thought. While I think some of the sexual violence and related themes are handled in ways that feel tone-deaf or in poor taste, I still really enjoy the game.
So far everything else has worked well on Linux regardless of distro. So if you plan on switching to Linux for gaming or recording with one person only do not be afraid. Currently we're mostly having troubles with the 2 person setup and we want that working so we can resume 2 person lets plays.
Bill Here! Got a windows PC set up to try recording the voiceover. OBS seems to be the root problem on Linux. So we're looking into audacity or troubleshooting Linux OBS on another PC before trying to get back to Linux full time again. Thank you for being so patient especially our channel members!
Bill has redone the obs filters. I am currently revising the script. Sorry it has been so long since the last video - a lot has been going on here, and then the audio broke until we got the M-Audio interface.
Got this interface now - M-Audio M-Track Duo – USB Audio Interface for Recording, Streaming and Podcasting with Dual XLR, Line & DI Inputs, plus a Software Suite Included - no longer sound like a glitchy robot in Linux. But now I need to redo my OBS filters. - BUT PROGRESS!
So OBS on linux keeps making things on my Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 3rd Gen USB Audio Interface choppy and robotic when trying to record voice over through my XLR Mics. I've bought an M-Audio Interface to try. I've tried Fedora and Nobara. Hoping I don't have to go back to windows.
Still working on Dragon Age Origins Rogue solo run. Technical difficulties have happened while recording the voiceover. Had to reformat and see if we can fix the audio recording problems with OBS. Bill is currently trying to appease the machine spirits.
