im unsure but im sure its something to do with their algorithm. Samething with jokes/shitpost outdoing anything else. It sucks bc while i do like my sketches alot, I appreciate if the actual finished piece got just as much recognition and not like 10 likes and 1 rt in comparison to a sketch with 1k

Dont get me wrong, im forever grateful when shit blows up even if its a sketch but theres a reason it kinda stings when a 10min sketch gets 1k likes and double the engagement vs a painting that took me 7hrs of my time and more.

Like twitter suppresses the art i actually worked hard on.

Ima just say it but theres a reason i continue to use bsky 2x more than twitter. Most the art i couldnt care about (doodles, sketches) will blow up on twitter meanwhile, FINISHED pieces of art ive spent hours on will simply be a fart in the wind.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.
