I've got 2, both sadly no longer.

T&C
Cockpit

Both Leeds. Both sticky carpet but both epic and saw some very serious names play over the years (think Bowie Tin Machne).
If you ever make fruit pies, particularly apple or pear, try adding grated sharp cheddar into the pastry lid - takes it to a whole different level specially if eaten warm.
I just can't stand it - slimy gits 😂
Cheese and apricot jam - sounds mighty fine to me, but then cheese and fruit and cake is so Yorkshire and that's just a slight side step.
That's how it felt.

Way too much shouting, ranting and single issue accounts that I either followed or were getting reposted onto my timeline.

I've kept this account very tight and I'm muting anything that tips my tolerance levels, even slightly.
Just noticed it doesnt give how much for the peas - i like them so use quite a lot but I'd say about a quarter of the volume of rice.
I had to be careful with R&P because they mostly use pork stock to cook it in, but that recipe with coconut is amazing.

Breadfruit...oh I miss breadfruit.

Okra was my hate, don't care what you do with it, it's disgusting.
That's exactly how I felt and why this account exists.

I'm back to chatting with some of the originals that don't rant or bore the arse off me.

It's all recipes, food, books, TV and actual life - SM done the way it should be...SOCIALLY.
Here you go.

It's absolutely amazing. Try and find Gungo peas if you can as that really is the authentic way - west indian or asian markets/shops will definitely have them.

I've also included a proper jerk dry rub/marinade from my Jamaican friend's mother.
Somewhere I've got a proper rice & peas recipe that will blow your mind and any diet you might be on.
I'll find it tomorrow.
Personally I don't think you ever go back to bought once you've made and tasted this.

If you can cope with heat then leaving it slightly chunky is amazing, otherwise just blend til smooth.
They make and sell it im 2 litre bottles over there 😂
They are kind of hot but theyre very flavourful and thats what makes this HPS the best ever.

It must only be made with scotch bonnets to be authentic.
Here you go. You can blend to a ketchup consistency or keep slightly chunky - whichever you prefer.

It's hot cos its scotch bonnets, but it's also fruity.

Keeps for around a month in the fridge in sealed bottles/jars. I make half quantity cos I can only cope with a small amount.
Do you like hot pepper sauce ??

Ive a proper family recipe from our cleaner in Barbados for the real deal bajan HPS if you'd like it.
Easy to make and it's way better than anything you buy here. Proper hot but also with flavour.
I add it to mac 'n cheese and veg stews to pep them up.
God's Own has been trying to get rid of the embarrassment for ages.

Good riddance.
I haven't seen them for a few years but I've a friend who must be their biggest fan - if they're playing he knows and he goes.

But the really are a proper live band, everyone knows every word and they have a great time.
Not watching but just popped on to say I bloody love the Levellers - such a great live band.
I get that.
I genuinely couldn't eat meat/fish now.
It's very difficult but you need to do what works best for you health wise.

Maybe give it a try and see how you feel about it and if it helps.
Awwwwwww there he is...the best boy.
I'm with you on this, in fact other than honey I pretty much eat vegan - certainly at home.

I just take supplements and include chia, flax, linseed and spirulina etc.

Btw H&B and supermarkets (waitrose and Sainsburys) sell hemp protein powder that's vegan - Naturya brand.
