I think in shows its usually done to appeal to the target audience age group. all in all in my very own opinion a character can be aged up to appeal to yourself BUT like i also dont tend to make a huge fuss about anything fictional so thats another story ahaha! I just dont like japan getting bad rep

thats all good and well but overall people tend to be like "thats how gastations are in japan" while its not uncommon in many MANY other places in the world ya know. you said US is 21 as if all of US is while its really only 1 of the states lmao.

plus in the US there is literally only one singular state using 21 as unrestricted age of consent. Im sorry but I think its really foul to give this bad rep to only japan and quite frankly not fair to do.

Sorry but imma be that annoying person, age of consent is almost 16 everywhere in the world, giving only japan this rep is kinda wild. this is just a lil handful but you can look it up. Germany has the age of consent at 14. people gotta stop writing japan down as the only one.
