Republicans will openly tell the American public that they want to institute Hungarian style majoritarianism, and start a war with Mexico

And people who are still bitter about 2020 will still say they're the same as the Democrats.
But let's be honest. He's going to be the nominee. Don't pull this sleight of hand nonsense, I'm no fool.
Yes. Because the democratic caucus does do good things for people when they have a majority. And the Republicans are corrosive/antagonistic to all institutions people rely on.

It's not a complicated choice.
I'm voting for the candidates that don't have ties to religious fundamentalists, white nationalists, and authoritarians.

And I'm voting because despite what cynics want us to believe we are a ppolitically enfranchised nation for now. And it's important we don't throw that away for moral purity.
Yeah, it's obnoxious. People who vote for the Green party or Marianne Williamson etc.

Telling people that understand the differences, and what's at stake that we're throwing our votes away if we vote for Biden? And we're the one's that shouldn't be taken seriously? Clowns...absolute clowns.
It's been the only thing anyone has talked about since the 2020 election.

I'm sorry, but I don't know a lot of people in their 70s that can jog for a few miles every day.

Trump ate 3 filet o fish sandwiches a day and washed them down with milkshakes FFS. Biden isn't the one w/ health issues here.
Ryan Grim and Briahna Joy Gray running a clinic on how to speak out of both sides of their mouths.

"On the one hand, the Biden administration's NLRB has made strides in promoting unions. And unions are instrumental in reducing poverty. On the other hand, what about the bad vibes?"

Fucking joke.
They're the same because the superstructure they operate in functions the same, regardless of how their politics effects people's lives in the short term.

Cause, you know who cares if people can vote, or get married, or rise above subsistence. What matters is the old structure dies you see....
So there's this one party that wants to help enfranchise people both politically through protecting voting rights and enabling/strengthening trade unions.
And there's this other party that wants to disenfranchise voters, and empower capitalists to the detriment of society. But they're the same. 🙄
Flattening parties to the point you can't recognize that one of them is literally fascist is not the big brained take you think it is.

Recognizing a system is corrupt doesn't absolve you of using your brain to understand the reality of the situation on the ground.

The war in Ukraine keeps making the two ends of the horse shoe bend closer together.
green party has been a spoiler for a few decades but in the last ten or fifteen years theyve gone completely off the deep end into conspiracy laden racism
My dog ate something off the floor a week ago is in a potentially life threatening situation.

I need to take her in for surgery, but I'm stuck stocking shampoo and cough medicine because my company's sick leave policy is laughably restrictive.
I hate America sometimes. Care always comes last here
Anansi boys was my favorite. I listened to the audio version on a training rotation and the funeral had my sides splitting.
America is making enough money to tell anyone they can fuck themselves.

But also working the graveyard shift for union Healthcare.
I worked the night shift with a guy that had already put his kids through school and owned enough property to live off his investments.

He was only working nights for the Healthcare. So, that tracks.

I've been drinking caffienated water instead of energy drinks during night shifts. And I'm 100% convinced that the burst of energy comes from the ungodly amount of sugar and not the caffeine.

The water tastes nice. It just isn't hitting the same.
Most large tranches of investments like mutual funds, pensions, and hedge funds are stacked with Healthcare investments.

It's a stable investment for obvious, and terrible reasons. 🤕
Collective bargaining. I know that's not an easy solution. But unions really do make low/no cost comprehensive Healthcare a sticking point.

We've had statewide elections in Wisconsin and Ohio in the last FOUR MONTHS where conservatives made trans hate a central part of their message. They lost them both. Badly.

You want to sell out trans people so bad, you need to come up with a better excuse than "it's bad politics."
We are well into our fifth election cycle with conservatives attempting to use transphobia to win. In high salience elections, it has not moved votes.

"Progressives" insisting we need to betray trans people to win are either ignorant or afraid to admit their real goals.
We've come a long way from Bill Clinton's softer brand of Reaganism.
I'm glad I have free Health coverage through my union. Sometimes it feels just as comprehensive and well ran as tri-care or the VA.

It's a big deal. And I'd keep working for the company I'm at for a long time just to keep it.
