If he sent out $2k checks with his name on them again and also took an axe to enough of his cabinet/the speaker of the house/etc. could maybe do a bad viziers play and float those numbers up again.
Though, Dems would vote to approve it and then he'd only send them out to people in counties he won.
Even somebody in their late 20s has only had the opportunity to vote for Trump, Trump, Trump for President on the Republican side of the ticket. And would have grown up under Tea Party take-over before voting eligibility.
Even up until mid-30s, it's at best Romney, Trump, Trump, Trump.
He's in some ways a man out of time, at the moment.
I agree with the thrust of his arguments on, say, Prop 50. Yeah, it is a bit silly to say you have to become less democratic to have a chance at becoming more democratic again later. But it's also real and he can't accept that aspect of it.
I'd definitely vote for somebody running on making it illegal to run commercials on it. Also for making it illegal to do from any device other than kiosks at specific locations.
You'll still get some zombified gambling addicts, but less of them and less is good.
Only poll I can remember seeing it on was the "un-attractiveness of male hobbies" one. For crypto, at least.
For gambling, I think a lot of stuff oversells how much it's a male only issue in terms of gambling as a hobby. Imagine you hit other flags first, like crypto, to signify over-leveraging.
Data guy who realized he could make more money by also being a certain kind of pundit guy.
His data is probably still fine, but the punditry is for an audience that will give him money for the type of take that misinterprets his own data so hard to say how long the data side can remain fine.
What's striking to me is how flimsy that metal all looks. By appearance, seems less safe than what you could get from a no-brand on amazon today but I guess the amount of weight they're using also seems very low at least.
Yeah, that's his handle. He acknowledged when other things with that handle came out. He also deleted the account, but unreddit, internet archive, etc. can get at the posts.
It's full of all sorts of stuff that makes his apology both for the reddit posts themselves and the tattoo smell of lies.
The absolute, most generous reading you can give him is that maybe his wife--who he met in high school--has started complaining to him that she wishes they'd started earlier. They have 1 kid.
But even that reading makes the crash-out here ridiculous and he should be receiving pushback. Not well.
When it comes to video games I think it's in part driven by streamer culture taking over.
People trying to buy everything their favorite streamer buys is bad. Even worse is when said streamers do the "[that thing I was sent for free] is way too expensive" song and dance to try to redirect ire.
It also really reveals the lie in his apology, among other reddit posts.
He apologized making excuses like "I was really disillusioned from friends dying overseas at the time" but then you have that reddit post, the constant drumbeat of him trying to do marine recruitment on reddit, etc.
If you grab from current reddit you get deleted user, yeah. If you grab from Internet Archive it'll show his username (provided the archive is before deletion) as well as be dated relative to archival date.
It's actually kind of funny in a sad sort of way compared to the cost of a beer at the venues that also serve alcohol.
Charge to get in to listen to the music playing versus charge to drink is very heavy on the drinking side of the equation. Even merch prices versus the beer price increase.
I think it just being a wolf at all is pretty bad in a "did you talk to nobody" sort of way. You don't have an SS tattoo, a potential other tattoo that is yet another SS tattoo, and then have your cover-up be wolf adjacent at all.
You do not need to let anybody make the connect to Wolfsangel.
