Yeah there’s also a battle challenge in Canyon layer that helps too
There’s 10 enemies that only takes a few seconds. Some discs can fall off but you can also get like 3-5 a run if you’re lucky
It’s also good for getting chips alongside that as well

I did look up a way to grind and there’s a decent place to grind in the Canyon layer
But the amount of discs I lost cause they fell down a pit or into some lava is way more common than it really should be

I don’t really like how getting discs is handled cause it’s way more annoying getting them all than it should be

If there’s a small complaint I have about Bananza (and this only implies if you’re going for 100%) is I wish it was easier to get Banandium Chips for the endgame
At least if you could buy them with gold considering how much gold you have by the end

Sometimes I hear people say that Mario Kart World’s base ost is unmemorable and I’m gonna be real I genuinely don’t get people who say that like are we listening to the same songs

It’s not super common but I’ve heard it a few times and I don’t get it

Just makes it feels like you’re constantly being rewarded for exploring everywhere on the map, even just the smallest of areas. Along with the skill point system which also makes it more rewarding to explore and I’m just constantly having fun running around just about anywhere

Honestly I feel the reason this game (and to an extent Odyssey) works for me is they constantly give this constant dopamine effect of being rewarded for doing almost anything
There’s bananas and fossils around every corner and punching the ground spews out gold everywhere

Been replaying Bananza again because I wanted to see if I still love the game as much as I do after the new car smell has worn off and if I also still think it’s my favorite 3D platformer ever made

Meganium looks kinda silly but in a good way
Feraligator might be my least favorite but I also haven’t seen how they look in action yet so it might grow on me

Unless it’s a spinoff I don’t think the main series is ever gonna go away from that
I think it’s clear that the most they’ll ever go with it is hints that certain elements of humanity is still technically there but humans themselves are completely dead

Been playing Galaxy 2 again (not the Switch remaster cause I don’t wanna pay 40 bucks for that) and man this game is still amazing
