Lemonade Stand Day in Edmonton is the best, my daughter Lola had pneumonia over Christmas and the Stollery took amazing care of her. When I told my kids there were 600 stands they asked if they could do all of them, so that’s been the day.
Patty Hadju said she had not heard the allegations about unpaid work for Air Canada Flight Attendants… but she sat in the 44th parliament when Bill C415 was introduced… #aircanada #flightattendant #pattyhadju #cdnpoli #CUPE #canada_life🇨🇦
Air Canada was never bargaining in good faith.

They assumed Section 107 would be used immediately. Making no provisions for stranded passengers.

Does this sound like someone who deserves 12M in compensation? No plan, just weaponizing the government against workers.
As the media will start to roll out anti union sentiment today, saying how reasonable the Air Canada offer is and how greedy the union is. Here is a reminder that sacrifices by the FA have already been made for 20 years and these are 10 year contracts. This is their only chance.
My friends who are Air Canada Flight Attendants are posting things like this.

Solidarity with them all.

The average FA works 30 hours a month unpaid. This practice needs to end here and now.

Hey CBC, FFS, your commentary that "Postal workers are going to go on strike - AGAIN" No, last time they were LOCKED OUT, it WASN'T a strike! FFS get it right!
We need to support our postal workers or we may lost Canada Post - forever.

Tomorrow is your decision, your voice, your vote.

I have been so amazed by the outcry of support. People me and my volunteers have spoke with have said to us so many things but most of all - they believe that we can win in Edmonton West.

Electoral reform is still needed in Canada.

Go into this weekend an undecided voter.

Look at your local candidates and make the best decision on who you think will most effectively be YOUR voice!

We have a housing affordability crisis more than a volume of homes crisis.

Trickle down economics with housing does not work as the rules of supply and demand do not apply to market housing. We can never build enough supply to lower housing prices into affordable ranges.
A target for new home builds isn't a silver bullet. More units don’t necessarily mean more affordable units. If affordability is the goal, why don’t Canada's leaders set a target for home values? Housing should be for homes first, investments second. elections.gensqueeze.ca/compensate_m...
Nothing in this election is decided - it gets decided on election day by your vote.

So don’t vote just off what you think is going to happen - look at your local candidates and make the best decision between them.

Happy Easter!

Advanced polls continue and there is high voter turnout which means we can vote for the best candidates available.

I am out every single day and would love to see you.
With a week until advanced voting and two until election night the noise is starting to settle.

Let’s take a pause and look at local candidates.

We are not an American style democracy but a Canadian one and that means electing strong local MP’s matter.

In Canada 1 in 4 workers work shift work and 1 in 3 families have at least one parent that works outside of the normal 9-5. Despite this only 2% of childcare providers work outside of 9-5 and there is no structure for these workers to access subsidized care.
