We welcome, on an ongoing basis, proposals for:
- articles (6,000–8,000 words)
- book reviews (400–1,500 words)
- translations (into English) of articles originally published in other languages, annotated translations of poems, short stories, and other texts
In short, we focus on:
- Literary interventions
- Translating cultures
- Performance con/texts
- Texts in professional and educational contexts
- Innovative methods to investigate language and texts
- Texts in socio-political contexts
Our scope and editorial approach is driven by a desire to understand how communication, languages and texts operate in social, scientific and cultural contexts. We are excited by research that draws innovative methods and perspectives into dialogue with real texts and contexts.
The Journal is run by and *for* PGRs and ECRs. We provide a platform for our peers to experience the academic publishing process in a supportive setting, without sacrificing rigorous standards and academic integrity. All our articles are open access and double-blind peer reviewed.
