The Deseret News didn't print my letter to the editor, so I guess I can post it here.

Editor—

Our dumb, wet president got on TV the other day to say that Tylenol causes autism, which it does not. The next day he rambled for an hour at the U.N. Your articles about these events painted over his embarrassing behavior and didn't push back at all on his lies.

Uncritically repeating a cascade of lies told by a demented rapist would be irresponsible for any news outlet, but it's unconscionable for one owned by a church. This policy that the Deseret News and other right-wing outlets have of being stenographers for liars (as long as they're Republican) is harmful to America, and it's especially embarrassing for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to endorse it.
