CADAVER IS HALF BLIND.
in-game, Cad usually has the hag eye, giving him his blind appearance (story-wise Orin blinded him) but without it, he needs someway to look blind and I haven’t been able to find a good way to give him that look without it looking like he has one blue eye

I have a few with Cad and Astarion, actually! Cadaver and Astarion are quite the photogenic couple if I do say so myself lmfao. They’re chaotic and foolish, they’re just guys being dudes, they’re sweet and affectionate, and they’ve got each other’s backs (and fronts) no matter what

I myself am very southern, spending most of my life in southern and occasionally New England USA states
Many of the men who inspired Cad (fictional and real dudes I knew) were very southern as well
This absolutely bled into Cadaver’s appearance, interests, and dialect

A wee bit self indulgent since I'm a huge enjoyer of musicals like Chicago, Sweeney Todd, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Moulin Rouge; took theatre arts throughout middle and high school; and still work in a theatre company as a technician to this day

Cadaver is definitely more comfortable when he’s in the more dominant position, letting his partner relax and let him do all the hard work. However, he’s more than happy with Astarion taking the wheel

Cadaver and Astarion rarely ever have sex (Astarion having a complicated relationship with sex and Cadaver having a low sex drive) but when they do, theres always a lot of cuddling, snuggling, and gentle questions and affirming little praises afterwards as they decompress and calm down.

So in some screenshots, he either looks like he has heterochromia or, if the screenshot is outdated, he won’t have his half blindness at all
However, I always draw him with a blind eye, and he has one in canon. Just wanted to clarify that because it’s been annoying me lately
