Citizen at large. On my better days a seeker of truth, justice, goodness, decency, beauty, connection with nature, and gratefulness. Hubris, greed, consumerism, and predatory capitalism are among the greatest evils of our time.

What's even sadder is that millions of his followers will think it's not only fine, but brilliant.
Putin and Epstein (even though he's dead) own Donald Trump.
Unfortunately, this is the mentality of his followers. They will love it.
The MAGA faithful will love this. It honors the life and teachings of Jesus.
Ted Cruz looks like what I would imagine Satan to look like. In fact, to blatantly lie, as Teddy Boy does, is to be a disciple of Satan.
Wait! I thought it was sponsored by Satan.
Was Argentina a signatory to the U.S. Constitution? I can't remember, and Fox News is not saying one way or the other.
Putin's inner circle must stay up all night trying to figure out what Trump's next move should be.

The second richest man on earth is about to be a major owner of TikTok.

The third richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The fourth richest man owns The Washington Post.

See the problem here?

How can foreign leaders even take this guy seriously?
The system is designed for these kinds of outcomes. It's wired into our legal and corporate DNA. All wealth is derived from various forms of exploitation.
Kroger will lay off ~1,000 employees.

In December, it announced $7.5B in stock buybacks – which juice stock prices, enriching shareholders and boosting CEO pay.

Just so happens that Kroger's last CEO was paid 457x its typical employee in 2024.

Textbook corporate greed.

The clearest picture of corporate greed in this country is CEO-to-worker pay ratios.

At the 100 lowest-paying major US companies, CEO pay averaged $17.2M in 2024.

Median worker pay at these companies was just $35,570.

That’s a ratio of 632 to 1.

How can anyone defend this?
Why the fuck are we taking advice from a war criminal on how to run our democracy?
