It really depends on the system, like others say. Narrative-focused systems can usually handle party splits (to a point) just fine. Tactical combat systems (and D&D is typically run this way) really don’t, not the least reason being because of GM prep.

My view is that my doctor already prescribed it and wouldn’t have done so if it weren’t medically necessary. What right does insurance have to second guess my doctor’s decision?

Because it would bar insurance companies from doing their usual “but is this medically necessary?” song and dance that often leads to patients eating the cost while they fight it out with insurance.

It’s the exact kind of “anti consumer practices” UHC got sued by shareholders for not doing.

Today’s good news: my partner and I gave the washing machine a desperately needed clean out after my many loads of laundry yesterday. I had no idea how much cat hair could hide in things!

Also, our favorite cute little restaurant makes the best chilaquiles for brunch and I am very spoiled.

Taking a page out of my partner’s book, in today’s good news: I perfect-cleared a sequence in Beat Saber on Expert difficulty that has thus far eluded me. Also, Coco curled up in my lap and fell asleep while I was doing dayjob work.

I had a really awful migraine the other day, but my cats did their best to help.

Me looking miserable with a migraine while my two cats curl up on the yellow and orange blankets in my lap. Both cats are very, very asleep and I love them.

Update: doot blaster continues to be amazing. My partner and I played off-main all the way up to tempered (8*) apex monsters. Still got 180-no-scoped by the Gore Magala punch though.
