Local Xiyouji/JttW Fan, Animation Fan, Video Game Fan, Mythology Fan, Comic Fan, Sonic Fa... OKAY!!! I'll Stop... But Yeah, I'm a Fan of a LOT of Things!

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants Lights Camera Pants, I wanted to show off the Music for one of it's BEST Minigames! The Minigame that the Developer (THQ Studio Australia) were clearly Proud of the Most...

Aka, Rock Bottom!

Yeah, One Thing I've noticed is how People will often assume the Publisher is the One directly making the Games they publish! People often don't look up or even acknowledge the ACTUAL Developers behind said Games, unless They're Exceptionally Well-Known or Infamous like say, Sonic Team!
Same Video Game Developer!

Also, They're both now 20 Years Old....
DAMN!!! And You got to play MOST of these before You were 18?!
Your Parents must've either been REALLY Rich OR You must've discovered Emulation at an Early Age, because I find it hard to believe that Kid/Teen You had a NES, GBA, DS, PS1, PS2, Wii AND Xbox 360 all at the SAME Time to try/play these!
Nicktoons UNITE! (5/10)

The Pure Example of "Cool Concept, Mediocre Execution"!
While the Character Interactions are Cute and there's Some Neat Gameplay Ideas, it's ALL wasted on a Slow, Janky & Monotonous Beat'em Up with Tediously Long Levels & even Lackluster Presentation!
SpongeBob SquarePants Lights Camera Pants (7.5/10)

A Genuinely Solid Party Game that adapts it's Nicktoon IP into the Genre in a Pretty Clever Way! A Lot of the Minigames are Fun, The Cutscenes are Expressive, The Music is Great and Nearly 20 Years Later, it still holds up Fairly Well!
Granted, Xiyouji [JP: Saiyūki] was already a fairly known work in Japan before 1952, but with the way Japanese Media (& Adaptations) usually tends to reference Journey to the West, it's pretty clear Osamu Tezuka & Nippon TV played a MAJOR role in popularizing this Chinese ShenMo Novel... (2/2)
#Xiyouji (Japanese: #Saiyuki) - #JttW
#西遊記 / #西游记 - #JourneytotheWest
Really thinking about it, it wasn't necessarily Journey to the West (specifically, the 1592 Novel) that influenced Countless Manga & Anime, but rather it's Adaptations by Osamu Tezuka, TOEI & Nippon TV that did... (1/2)
Yes, I DID watch (& countlessly rewatched) The Unlikely Cyphers Video about Cereal Mascots by The Stupendium! Yes, it DID get me into watching Cereal Mascot Commercials! And NO, I (mostly) didn't regret it...

Seriously tho, his Cereal Cypher is FANTASTIC!!!
Yeah, I recently replayed Nicktoons Unite (alongside SpongeBob: Light Camera Pants & Tak: The Great Juju Challenge, which are both MUCH Better Games) and I was fully reminded of just how Bland, Tedious & Utterly Lacking it was, even (or really, especially) for a 6th Gen Nickelodeon Game...
That would be kinda Neat but given the Game's Ending + Fair Play Labs' Circumstances (you know, SpeedRunners 2 & All), it's clear that Dice of Destiny is a One-Time Deal! We'll probably get Some Patches & Updates (tho, likely not as much as NASB 1 or 2 got), but I'm not expecting a Direct Sequel...

Is it weird that for Cyberchase, I honestly prefer the Artstyle of Monster Minutes over the Show's Actual Look! That's not to say I dislike the way the Show itself looks, I just really like how Loose & Expressive the Characters are here...

After finishing Nicktoons & the Dice of Destiny and having my Overall Thoughts on it fully settled in, I've decided to update my Nick #Crossover Game Tier List!
#NicktoonsandtheDiceofDestiny #DiceofDestiny #NatDoD
Well, in the Meantime, there is Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3 & All-Star Brawl 2! Both of which usually go on sale with Big Discounts! Those will probably keep you busy until Price of Dice of Destiny goes down...

Just AVOID the Switch Version of either Game...
One Thing I appreciate about Dice of Destiny's Story (& to a lesser extent, NASB2's Campaign) is how well utilized the Side Characters (aka, NPCs) are & how Most of Them are given a Fun Presence throughout the Game! An Aspect that was honestly Underutilized or Pretty Lacking in the Unite Games...
Exactly, I always avoid ANYTHING Mind Pulp uploads, no matter how much it appears on my Recommendations! Mainly because just looking at their Video Thumbnails & Titles alone makes it blatantly clear they have NO Respect for any of the Games they play, it's literally just for the Views!
Personally, I still think NASB2 & NKR3 are the BEST Nicktoons Games!
That being said, NatDoD is in 3rd Place & easily a Step Up from the Console Unite Games! And I do agree that Nick Crossover Games are back & better than ever in terms of Quality with This Game, NKR2, NASB1, NKR3 & NASB2!
I gonna guess Zhu Wuneng made a bet with Sun Wukong to drink a Calabash that is filled with Poison & then Wukong chucklingly went "Heh, Idiot! This is NOTHING to Old Sun!" with Sha Wujing being worry for his Elder Brother, while Tang Sanzang & White Lóng Horse are just curious to see what happens...
#Nickelodeon #THQ #NickGames #TierMaker
So, I've decided to make a Tier-List of EVERY 2000s Nickelodeon Game (specifically the Console & Standalone Handheld Games) that I've played so far, because honestly why not...
#2000s #Nicktoons #VideoGames #Nick
The Developers (Toys for Bob) were clearly Horny for Gloria when making the Game! One of Her Unlockable Moves is literally called "Hip Check" & the Devs even made an Original Warthog Character (named Wilbur) who immediately falls in love towards Gloria when He literally sees Her Body!
I'm not gonna lie...
I was SHOCKED seeing Madagascar Escape 2 Africa at Bottom Tier, until I read the ALT & it mentioned "Licensed Kids Games for the PS2"! And then I realized that You played the Ugly as Sin, Botched PS2 Port by Idol Minds & not the Flagship 7th Gen Console Version by Toys for Bob!
Though, Matt Black (who later composed the OST for SpongeBob Creature from the Krusty Krab) did help with the Former Two Games' Soundtracks...
