I saw a House Hunters episode on hgtv where a young gay man and his bff girlfriend were buying a vacation home together.
The show narrator actually said "The growing trend among young homeowners is to buy a second vacation destination home with friends."
Bullshit. Many can't buy a first home.

From the 6th grade thru college, I grew up in Anderson. After college I lived in Simpsonville for 8 years. I agree with your assessment. I moved to Charlotte in 2000. Seriously, it was like night and day.

Going to visit mom Wednesday night through Saturday and I have to get junk food for Bob because he won't make a meal while I'm gone. He'll live off chips and salsa and crackers and dips until I get back. And fruit cocktail.
