Not great news on the Tyson Foerster front, as he was officially placed on IR by the PhiladelphiaFlyers today.

That gives them the roster spot to recall Emil Andrae again, which should be a help vs the Habs.

This isn't Andrae's fault by any means. And while there are other Phantoms players I think have performed better than Gaucher overall, he's a solid call-up. I'd rather have him sitting in a press box and the other prospects actually playing this weekend.

The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired defenseman Christian Kyrou from the Dallas Stars for forward Samu Tuomaala.

Tuomaala has struggled and a change of scenery is probably the best move for him. Kyrou should help the Phantoms blue line that is missing Bonk and Samson.

On the up side, Emil Andrae will be in the lineup for the Philadelphia Flyers tonight. Zamula comes out.

The down side is that Sam Ersson still DTD, so Aleksei Kolosov gets the callup as backup for Dan Vladar. Also Nikita Grebenkin is still out of the lineup.
