My mom came home from the hospital today for Hospice comfort care. She gets oral morphine every two hours.

The crazy part is that the entire country is running out of morphine. Doctors & nurses here in Ohio are panicking along with me.

One of my sons has already been kicked off Medicaid. He went from full coverage to being ineligible for even partial assistance, and when we offered proof that his bills ate up most of his part term wages, they said it didn't matter. Just got the call this morning that the appeal was denied.
