Pediatrician for almost 30 years, now retired so I can contribute to giving my grandkids and dog a better quality of life. In favor of democracy, civil rights, vaccines, cookies and mystery novels.

Hmmm. I’m over 60 but attended with teen niece and nephew and my daughter and her husband in their 20s and 3 yo grandson so…no!
No kings in Anchorage! 3 yo grandson with both his paternal and maternal (me)grandmas 💕. He also had his own sign that said “no kings, yes kisses” but had to borrow mine periodically so he could yell “quack!”.
This administration has killed the concept of irony.
And reported them for pro-authoritarian content!
“Under babied “ should be reserved for when you’re feeling under the weather and people don’t fuss over you properly!
Hmmm. Pediatricians take Tricare and I can guarantee you don’t want us taking care of the adults at the VA 😳
Is there a particular reason you’re taking health advice from your sister?
True but this is an addition to the standard medical curriculum and some of the best physicians I’ve known were DOs. Criticize the BS of this summary (ECG now has crystal ball function and reads your age?) but it’s not because the writer is a DO.
I am am MD and can assure you that DOs have equivalent training including the same residency training. NOT the same as ND (naturopath), DC(chiropractor) or NP (nurse practitioner). DOs are physicians and have the same qualifications as MDs.
Reading US news on a visit to Canada is even more surreal. Which city is being invaded this week? We’re arresting toddlers? Which political opponent is being indicted? And Canadians are just up here living in a normal democracy like it’s 2024 or something.
Seemed so much less controversial then, though!
Oh, no, grandpa is confabulating on live tv again …
I think your A- for CNN was too generous. Large population-based study is very, very strong evidence. The science is pretty clear!
Hmmm. Not sure if mine is a porch kitty or a porch pirate. Probably the latter as it involved pumpkin theft.
So no more “recreational” Tylenol?🙄
This sounds more like a case for (Protestant) sainthood than a description of any possible wound. (Last anatomy class was in the ‘80s but I feel confident not that much has changed.)

Let’s not pretend this is intended to improve safety. Requiring a medical consultation before getting a COVID shot is a barrier and will result in fewer at-risk people being protected.

As a member of the AAP (FAAP, like most pediatricians), I’m very happy that they didn’t legitimize this travesty of a medical body with their presence. Go AAP!
Of course, some fool is going to find this and use it to “prove” that vaccines cause left-handedness 🙄
Totally fine with me! They’re welcome to him.
