One thing I think is cool about pumpkin vines is that they self-abort all the early blooms and pumpkins so that later ones, that have access to a more robust plant and thus greater nutrient pull, can survive.

I think about this more than is normal.

Those blue districts in south Alabama and Georgia are majority Black btw. Georgia already disenfranchised the remainder of the black belt or else the blue would run farther east.

Aside from losing many Democratic seats, Black representation in Congress will probably drop from around 14% of seats (nationally representative) to maybe 7 or 8% (not representative)?

Related: Spouse loves The Fly (80s) and has said he think it’s about how men (in our culture) violate women’s boundaries. Even seemingly “nice” guys like Goldblum will violate boundaries as soon as access is revoked or not given freely.
