What I CAN show you is the cover for The Maisie Frobisher Mysteries, Cases 4-6, which I’m hoping to release on Thursday 6 November! Preorder coming soon!
The Sherlock and Jack Chronicles - A Jar of Thursday, Something Blue and A Phoenix Rises - will be out around the end of this month, but I can’t show you the cover as I haven’t seen it myself yet!
You know what they say about buses - you wait for ages and then two come along at once?
Right now it’s the same for book omnibuses - I’m proofreading two at the moment!
Managed to get a walk in at Marbury Park before the rain came yesterday… #autumnleaves #autumncolours #northwich

Cup of tea; twenty minutes to kill. You know what that means: #Storytime. (New followers, this is when I write a story on Bluesky, from scratch: and it always starts like this:)
There is a story the bees used to tell, which makes it hard to disbelieve.
Two days to go!
Not long now! If you’re near Warrington, I’m doing an event on Saturday at Stockton Heath Library. 3 authors talking about things they love: killing people (Carol Bissett), historical inspiration (Fiona Forsyth) and co-writing (that’ll be me).
Expect fun, chat, and a brew - all for free!
Thanks but I'm all set for beta-readers - I have a regular team.

ONE more set of beta-reader feedback to come in on my Magical Bookshop spinoff book... one step closer to the book being out in the world!
The cover isn’t absolutely final - I’m still pondering the series name - but here it is in hopefully close to final draft!

Today I have been:
a) writing more of an odd story that arrived in a dream last week (this never happens, or if it does I don’t remember).
b) reading Lulmouth Bay book 2 and getting on with early edits.
Here’s a link to book 1, A Tale of Tea and Dragons, while you wait! mybook.to/LBay1
This free event is less than a week away now! I've even written my talk!
Seriously, it should be good fun - come and say hello if you're in or near Warrington next Saturday afternoon! #warrington #stocktonheath #libraries #libraryevent #freeevent #freetalk
