I get that. I am very sensitive to texture so I’m often picky about fabrics. Bamboo is one that doesn’t usually hurt my brain when I’m stressed.

It’s true, this goat held on for 25 km. I was glad I had one in my pannier bag for it!

Google Maps needs a “least aggressive” route option. I’m not afraid of driving or speed, but there are certain intersections I avoid because people aggressive assholes.

I found that as soon as friends started thinking about children they started looking at homes in the suburbs. When I was pregnant with my twins the amount of people who asked when we were moving got quite annoying. People couldn’t understand that we were planning on staying in our inner city condo.

We made it out for one last 2025 BVP ride. The 7s (they are 7 now!!) did spectacular as always and used their birthday money to purchase Johnston Canyon goats. 6 hours, 50 km, a few tears, lots of smiles, and now an exhausted family.

We have a biking playlist. It’s a mix of songs about bikes, sunshine, space and flying and some songs that my kids like to sing to. I figure we aren’t around people long enough to bother them and bike dancing has become a favourite thing on our way to and from school
