All the seats are uncomfortable in this motel room.
I’m still annoyed by the restoration team being smug about removing a ‘thud’ noise in the Daleks where a Dalek collides with the set. There was a big promo about it where they explained all the tarting up they did of the story when it got released on DVD.
This has been my road trip charger for a number of years. Now my phone/ipad are USB-C but before current phone was lightning. And I’ve got a digital camera that charges via micro-USB.
The motel I’m staying at, they sent a text message with all the info saying the room was unlocked and key in the room. So I didn’t even need to interact with reception or anything like that.
Debating between scotch fillet and chicken Parma. Kinda hungry, but pub steak is a little hit and miss. I’m not sure if the extra $12 on the Parma is going to be worth it.
Looking at the local pub’s menu.
There’s the standard Parma, Scotch fillet, squid etc. But mixes it up with pork nachos, laksa, and fried chicken.
There’s plenty of drummers who’re quite lithe chaps.
Looks like the rain is going to pass just in time for me to go to the pub.
I didn’t mind the first season but I kinda lost interest after that. I went and started rewatching the Americans instead.
It has rained all day. I don’t think I’ve been on a road trip where it’s rained constantly. Also car has developed an “interesting” fault where in the high beams will just come on, randomly.

Something for me to tell my mechanic when the car goes in for its annual service.
Is fast food ever beyond “eh, it was fine”? Like I only go to Maccas on road trips, and usually because it’s convenient. And I’ve had many a “meh” meal. I think the last great meal I had at Maccas was their “create your taste” custom burger era.
I think one of the earliest gay awakenings in media I had was seeing Luke Ashton take a shower in “The Bill”.
When Juliet Bravo was mentioned in Doctor Who books, I thought it was a made up TV show like Professor X was. It was a lot later I found out it was real. I just thought it was a ‘The Bill’ analogue.

Presumably it’s just a general “radio edit” version rather than a one for our market.
Hmmm. I will relinquish my attempt at being a sandwich arbiter.
It’s an amazing feat of the body, being able to fart without shitting yourself.
I agree that burger *can* be in the class of sandwiches. But burgers are unique in that the filling is hot. Sandwiches contain cold items.
I hate men who refer to their wife as “wifey”.
The ability to post hot hole pics is truly an art.
A break mid-story for a hot drink?
In the same terrible theme is one I saw after it was mentioned on a podcast. It’s a military plane where the load inside becomes unsecured and the weight shifts following taking off.
Apparently scary because it’s an unrecoverable situation.
Anything that's in a burger bun is a burger.
I don't understand Americans and chicken "sandwiches". They're burgers.
