You're talking about countries that aren't governed by our constitution which is pretty specific as far as freedom of speech goes. So no, you can't restrict hate speech in the United States unless it's intent is to cause bodily harm.

No, that is society's responsibility, not the government's. Speech intended to cause physical harm is certainly something that can be regulated, but once you start trying to differentiate between types of speech, you are no better than the dictator trying to abolish all speech.

No, they're not shunned because if they were, they wouldn't feel emboldened to text like that. And it doesn't matter if a "good one" is handing out the presidential medal because they're still getting those medals for outrageous and disgusting behavior. They don't face consequences.

My cousin had a 100% disability rating for PTSD and he became a brakeman with a 30-year career for Union Pacific. I agree, you should stop gatekeeping people with disabilities.

So what happens when you elect someone you like & they die in office & we need them for a vote? Arizona is an example of what's happening when someone dies in office. She may very well not die in the next 7 years, but I can tell you as someone as old as she is, her odds are greater than a 40 yr old
