the child blinked and extended her tiny webbed hands to grasp at the book. she wasn't harming it or anything, but using it to try to climb. maybe she was more out of it than usual.

the peeping noises continued softly. froggy's eyes were also very unfocused and features dazed.

"daddy doesn't have a car! daddy has a motorcycle! froggy has the barbie jeep," she insisted, though that's a little battery operated froggy sized car that could be driven.

froggy often crashed into things with it, and she was very convinced it was a real car.
