It gets REALLY bad once you get into stuff like the nuclear button and negative charm space where you have to swap charms in/out/in/out/in/out of drawers just to get things set up to buy a charm which you sell another for to repeat this process. Then you spend like 1 minute spinning and repeat this.

The "interface" is about as efficient as it can get, and once you get into the challenge run/true ending stuff you're sitting there messing with charms for like 10 fucking minutes before actually pulling- and the slot machine itself you only interact with in one way. The button is just charm stuff!

Cloverpit is really cool but I don't think it's as interesting as balatro since the only thing you do is charm management. Imagine if you played Balatro and every single hand you had to stop and fuck around with your jokers and the shop for 5 minutes.

Otr of the Flame: Really good chapter. I think Kawaguchi has some weaknesses in action paneling like Horikoshi did but this was all visually parsable where parts of previous chapters weren't. Cool form too. I feel like we're just about to really start cooking if this can survive.

Harukaze Mound: I still think this is pretty solid but it needs to really start cooking plotwise. It didn't make the same mistakes the last several attempts at baseball in Jump have made but I think the characters need a bit more juice to really pop off the page personality-wise.
