Of course he is. I was trying to explain to my mum that he's not at all interested in running the US for it's people. Everything is about personal gain and adulation.

2/2 Given the pittance for winning the league and the tiny difference for 2nd, I'm not convinced they're that bothered about coming 1st.

My feeling of late is the new owners assumed there will always be Euro football of some sort at Ibrox, which is probably fair enough. On that basis they were viewed as a better, and cheaper, option as a way to get good minutes for future Leeds players / player trading than a Championship club. 1/2

I think it's just classic separation of art from artist. We all know there are problematic elements to the art as well but they're less explicit and if you choose to do so you can believe the 'coincidence' excuse.

When Colonel Willie Sharp requests permission to shake the hand of the daughter of the bravest man he's ever met. That's platinum edged dialogue. Untouchable.

Armageddon is the best one. I went through a period of natural disaster themed ones and you can't beat The Day After Tomorrow - here in the oak clad library we'll burn books to keep warm.

How is the badminton in Switzerland?

Lauren Layfield gets my vote.

I've watched it several times. It's not that it's spectacular. Just rewatchable.

Can you give rough estimates on times to show the difference between incomes too?

When the dot com bubble burst, it was some of the worst that survived, and indeed grew. Just remember that if you're approaching an AI bubble burst with glee.

You know at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark there's the huge warehouse of artefacts? Oxfam have one that size full of cd singles of Love Is All Around and Everything I Do.

I had to stop listening in the mornings years ago due to John Humphrey's anti science attitude. In general there can be a dismissive arrogance to so many of the presenters it's quite off-putting.

Is this you trying to tell us how built you are?

Certainly no later than early 93. I think I was in 2nd year at Glasgow and not quite fully immersed in the world of clubs.

This week's hill to die on. The sample collage production of Pop Will Eat Itself was at least as good and important as that of The Bomb Squad and Public Enemy.

And Lo it came to pass that Adrian enjoyed listening to An Unexpected Groovy Treat on Friday morning.

People used to dream about the future.

That was probably it. The Chart Show was awesome. Whilst I'm generally terrible at recalling details of gigs. I can still recall their scaffold 'cage' at the QM with Roland Octapads (SPD-11 maybe) in the upper corners and them generally clambering about it.

Great read, and what's really weird, is that I thought you'd brushed over the chart success of 101. Except there wasn't any. I'd have sworn blind they were on ToTP with it. Reader, they weren't.

I've got a 40gb hd of house and techno and I've barely scratched the surface of it years later.

I don't accept that Che Adams and Lyndon Dykes are Scotland's best striking options.

He can't be any worse than Hickey was. Not that he was particularly lower in standard than anybody else.
