I can’t tell if this joke —which was intended to make fun of idiots who say this— went too far because I didn’t really add anything to distinguish myself from said idiots. If so, my bad and I’ll remove it.
They have been working hard to create these outgroups, and now they’re hoping to lump everything into “Antifa”. They create groups that they can lump people into until they can combine all of those groups into one big one they can serve the death penalty. We’ll all be Antifa before it’s over.
I keep saying that the Republican Party has been threatening to kill us all for years now. Every time they said people were unAmerican, communist, insurrectionists, radical leftists, etc. They equivocate everything with treason because it carries the death penalty, yet they are projecting.
He said he’d save the label of “communist” for New York. Mamdani, of course. He then said the Democrats (who he had just called socialists and communists) are getting “killed”. He’s been talking about killing anyone left of fascist for a long time now, but no one has been talking about it.
This take is unnuanced and annoying and is logically equivalent to “BLM is as annoying as white supremacists” when you actually mean Black separatists (and even that is a stupid take).
Life is a curse. We’re all born with the Darksign. It’s just that Solaire is so beautiful that we can forget, if only for a moment.
In other words, you’re probably more correct than me and it’s closer to a repeat of 2016 but with people upset about Gaza making up 29% of people who voted for Biden but not Harris added in.
29% didn’t want to flip the lever to actively kill a person and instead allowed 5 people to die, meaning they allowed a net greater evil to occur because they didn’t want to be held responsible. However, they still made a choice in doing so and are responsible. But that’s what happened.

I actually misunderstood. It’s that 29% who voted for Biden but didn’t vote for Kamala chose not to due to Gaza. Less significant, but still significant enough that she acknowledged it. Unfortunately, it was a trolley problem failure regardless.
Rules of engagement and not committing every single war crime possible is WOKE!
Then what would motivate you to take hate speech off of your legal and, eventually, for-profit platform? Do we need to boycott potential advertisers or something? If attempting to appeal to your lack of a better nature doesn’t work, what recourse is there?
Every good and unique Christian artist or band ends up crucified by Christians and find that secular fans and atheists are much friendlier and more accepting. That’s part of why many of them end up making secular music and even leaving the faith entirely.
You may be morally opposed to the way things turned out, but that’s what the poll said, and Kamala admitting she handled things wrong shows those people had an impact. I would never expect her to be moral for morality’s sake or to hold actual beliefs.
According to a YouGov poll, around 29% of Biden voters said they wouldn’t vote for Kamala over Gaza. While Kamala was recounting her appearance on The View in which she said she wouldn’t do anything different from Biden except maybe have a Republican in cabinet, she said they mishandled Gaza.
God, they look so fucking stupid.
It’s a very simple trolley problem: you either want to protect liberal democracy or don’t. The Dems don’t. To not criticize the Dems is to let them allow fascism to overtake us. The solution is to be pissed at them and the GOP and help others where elected officials fail us.
Genuine complaint = “bad faith”, I guess. What exactly have Dems done to stop fascism in any way? Hell, even the reason Kimmel was reinstated was because Disney lost 7% in stock value almost immediately. So, consumers and workers fought for Kimmel, not Dems.
Respectability politics can often be an overrated liberal thing that hinders effective politics, but you’re right. For me, it’s that the head of the DoD just replied “Cool, don’t care” to a retired 3 star general who brought up a valid point about Nazis. He doesn’t care if he’s seen as a Nazi.
This is sarcasm. He’s referencing the archaic meme “Cool story, bro”.
I’m an atheist, so where exactly am I supposed to derive “objective” meaning and purpose from? Hell, even if I believed in a god, I can disagree with that god; the opinions of a god are opinions, regardless if there are consequences for disobeying them or not. Nihilism is freedom, not this.
I really dislike the misapplication of “nihilist” we’ve been seeing because it shifts the blame to an ideology people don’t understand from fascists. Fascists don’t care about superficial coherence; see 14 Features of Fascism. Nihilists recognize lack of meaning and purpose but can make their own.
Hmm. The only video I’ve seen was up-close and to the side. It looked like he was hit in the chest. I wonder which story is true. I suppose it could’ve hit bone and redirected or maybe I didn’t see what I thought I did.
I heard the bullet impacted a bulletproof vest and redirected into his neck. To me, it sounds like the vest slowed the bullet down enough for it to become lodged in him instead of pass through him. He also could’ve maybe survived without the vest, ironically.
