Because there’s zero public health messaging about it? I only get this info because I’ve worked for doctors advocating on this issue.

According to Dr. Moriarty, right now 1 in 95 Canadians has Covid. That's almost half a million people. Very few are boosted.

BC is at about the Canadian average & (prob rising).

An analysis of multiple studies shows significant reduction in Long Covid in vaxed adults. Prob kids too but evidence not collected yet. Ontario did used to be easier to procure vaccines and Paxlovid and tests than BC, but I guess no longer

The feds no longer pay for Covid vax - the provinces have to shell out & the optics are bad: failing to do a public health campaign to get people vaxed looks like provs saving $, even if it's not

I got Moderna & flu shot today. I asked the pharmacy why they had flu shot signs up, but not Covid. They waffled & finally admitted "limited supply" #bcpoli

Where is BC public health? Even in the US there were public health campaigns around Covid shots, and much earlier access to them - well before this massive Covid wave hit. This is SO late. Too late for many

I'm going by the size of the humans vs the signs. That size, with thin white on blue (already not a readable colour scheme) isn't easily or safely readable to a driver. There's no reason why you can't make them far more legible than that. This is a common problem (I see it in protest stuff a lot)
