An inconvenient fact for people who think this way, of course, is that farm labor in the US has never been done primarily by white men.
I doubt it's statistically insignificant, because it was severely underdiagnosed for most of the last century, and a lot of adults are being diagnosed now. Which is why I brought it up.
But if you're that invested in the actual numbers then I'm sure you have google (or search engine of your choice).
Surveys? To tell you that there are adults who were not diagnosed as children but are now being diagnosed as adults? And that those adult diagnoses affects the diagnostic rate of autism? That's basic common sense, and if you can't do basic common sense then surveys probably won't help you.
Are you remembering to factor in all the adults who are just now being diagnosed, either because the parameters of what is autism has changed or because we were overlooked due to the general belief that you couldn't be autistic unless you were white and a boy?
You can buy 1 pound bags of dried black beans at the dollar store for $1.25. Another $1.25 for a 2 pound bag of white rice. Throw in some canned tomatoes and canned corn, and it's still only $5 total for several complete meals that are healthier and more filling than plain brown rice by itself.
RCCC has pretty strict rules against cosplaying as a Nazi or a cop.
If I'm not paying for it, I'll just use twice as much.

A better horror story might be "TP rationed, only one ply available."
I've been reliably informed that, in fact, sheep are too stupid to die.
Something like 90% of Portland is white. Most of the people (also white, to be fair, it's a very white state) who complain about Portland, or who support the idea of the NG/ICE being there, aren't from Portland; they're often the people who live in the suburbs and are too scared to go into the city.
Not looked at the UK government lately then? They also have no idea what they're doing and probably shouldn't be trusted to self-govern.
My child, aged about 15 months at the time, once walked off the edge of the bed.
Then looked up at me from a heap on the floor, said "boom" in a very serious (and obviously impressed) voice, stood up and kept going.
It was a sad day in history when men stopped wearing knee breeches.
I'm in the PNW wishing, for them, the kind of persistent rain that defeats anything "waterproof". The type of weather that gets under your collar and cuffs, seeps through your shoelaces, isn't quite cold enough for cold weather gear, and will leave them constantly damp.
Also, ice storms.
They're not nostalgic for Walmart, they're nostalgic for childhood - and, tragically, confused about them being the same thing.
Batter'n'Hiss sounds like the way my cat treated my dog when he was a puppy.
It turns out that when you inject comically large quantities of seed oils into rats, they die. And this is why you shouldn't eat seed oils. Or something - "buy my unregulated dietary supplements" is the main message.
Coffee houses/shops have been breeding free speech and revolutions since the 1700s. Not exactly a why, but I suspect it's related.
Fox has repeatedly defended itself from law suits by proving in court that they are not a reliable news source, and that nobody should reasonably take anything they say as true.
Somebody else will keep your money after you die, but you get to take your tattoos with you.
There's no such thing as a "Judeo-Christian worldview" - Judaism and Christianity have as much to do with each other as either has to do with Islam. They're all related, and believe in the same god, but are completely different religions with different worldviews.
In many cases the problem is that editing is no longer a job.
My generation? I was born in 1972, what generation do you think that is?

I'll type this slowly, so you can understand: A lot of those jobs no longer exist in the way they used to, and fewer people are hired to do them. And then they drive for Uber or DoorDash on weekends so they can afford rent.
So you were referring to Gen X as "those kids"? I believe in the importance of being young at heart as much as anyone, but my body keeps insisting I'm in my 50s.

Those "anything for a paycheck" jobs you suggest aren't as readily available as they use to be. And more people are competing for them.
Elder millennials are not 'kids', the oldest of them are in their forties, and many are working in those "long hours and no benefits" jobs you recommend.
When my millennial son was looking for work, a few years ago, he sent out over 200 applications and didn't even hear back from most of them.
Small towns can be food deserts as well. I live in a town of about 4500 people with no grocery store.
