The next mainline Pokemon game which is seemingly named Pokemon Wind and Wave, according to leaked documentation, will feature a turn based battle system unlike the battle system for the newly released Pokemon Legends Z-A. Other details we know from the leak reveals that the feature to ride all Pokemon has been significantly scaled down and that the character stories have changed a lot since its inception.

OMG I LOVE THE NEW BATTLE SYSTEM IN ZA! I can use my stat moves as my damage moves are recharging which i literally NEVER did in the old battle system since dmg moves always existed till they ran out. There is a lotta down time tho where everything is recharging which kinda sucks
