Not going to lie. Read something about evolution skeptics questioning dinosaurs having sex and legit, I paused.
The Stand. Unabridged.
Troy Carter is the bomb. I know him. I love him. He is the best. And all I can hope is stuff like this just continues the questioning that highlights the moronic actions being taken right now.
This Committee brought the receipts.🧾🫳🏾 🎤 #rfkjr
My favorite. By far. The start is so realistic and then you are in utter chaos. Love The Stand.

CARTER: The Adolescent Trial Network for HIV intervention received a stop work order that shut down research at 14 sites where 7 studies were being conducted. Were you aware of that?

RFK JR: As far as I know, we haven't cut any clinica--

CARTER: I'm telling you by your own records you are
Enjoy the things that bring you joy, especially in this chaos. I keep thinking this might be the last “insert normal thing I like to do like a concert” because I feel like there will be a moment where normal is gone and we will wish for these days. Have a wonderful time!!!!

Any resources to help deal with dementia? She is 72 and had brain cancer (cancer free for 15 years) treated with surgery and whole brain radiation. Brain fried. We are in angry repeat daily stuff. Blames us for a lot. Long term fine. We were given control because of cancer so that’s not a problem.
I got my tickets and sadly the weather….🤣
@padilla.senate.gov is spot on. “It is because of the contributions of immigrants” can be said about so much in America, including its founding. The vast majority of us would not be here without someone in our family immigrating. This entire situation is frightening. We stand with you Senator.
Listen to this great American. This nation is privileged to have a man of this character in the United States Senate. Thank you @padilla.senate.gov. We stand with you.

I’ll tell you what. If you voted for Trump, and now it’s coming back to bite you, I don’t want to hear about how sad you are. I want to know what you’re gonna do about it. Start there.

The deployment of federalized National Guard troops to California, without consent from local or state officials, is deeply troubling. These are tactics seen in authoritarian regimes, not in America. We want to be clear, the military should not be used to police civilians.

I don’t know how many times we have to say this, but the U.S. government is not a business and shouldn’t be run like one. It’s a service—for the people.
Impressive! And heavy! My grandmother’s pot is my favorite and gumbo just isn’t the same in any other pot.
Dealing with UHC now for my aunt who had brain surgery. They discharged her even though no one at the facility thought she should leave. She fell an hour into assisted living and is back at the hospital again waiting on UHC to determine care instead of her doctors. This is terrible.

Health insurers continue to use algorithms to predict how long patients need intense care — and thus how much care is covered, an attorney says. #STATBreakthrough

The new GOP tax bill gives the richest Americans (making over $4.3 million) an average tax cut of over $389k—while working families earning $17k-$51k will lose $700 a year on average. It’s a slap in the face to hardworking families who need tax relief the most.
So no health advice should be taken from the Secretary of Health… got it. Agree on the no shit part for *this* Secretary. It should have never gotten to this.
THIS! All of this!!! @markhamillofficial.bsky.social as the young nerdy girl who got picked on because I preferred my Star Wars figures (still have them) to Barbies, this made my day. I knew my love of Star Wars would come in handy, I just wish it wasn’t because of an actual Evil Empire though.
Who could've guessed joining a make-believe Resistance against an Evil Empire would ever happen in real life?
Because of a Medicare Advantage plan, my aunt had to move from a rehab hospital, despite making great progress, to an
assisted living facility, when no one caring for her thought it was time. Not 4 hours after moving, she fell. A solid month of progress out the window. We can do better.
