In 2020, Bill Tiller created a high-resolution version of the background art for the Barber Shop. He aimed to persuade Disney to release a new HD version of The Curse of #MonkeyIsland. The left side is still unfinished, and it lacks the shadows of the table and chair.

Today, we celebrate The Curse of #MonkeyIsland's 28th Anniversary.

On October 30, 1997, Online Gaming Review reported that the game had gone gold. It would become available in the stores a few days later, in the week of November 10th.

Today, we celebrate Escape from #MonkeyIsland's 25th Anniversary.

On October 27th, 2000, LucasArts announced in a newsletter (LucasArts Insider #3) that Escape from Monkey Island had gone gold. The game would become available in the stores a few days later.
