Someone in the crowd: “Go Cubs!”

Heb niks met de SGP (goh wat een verrassing) maar ik moet zeggen dat het ergens wel indrukwekkend is dat je partij zo conservatief is dat zelfs het aantal zetels al 100 jaar lang niet is veranderd.

You know a beer is gonna be good when it's German, made by a brewery that's 1000 years old, and has a bear on it

And today in weird music trivia I just learned about: Apparently Mike Love from the Beach Boys had a brother who played for the Lakers in the 70s

Also the classic Dutch appelkruimeltaart

Oh, also "as American as apple pie". There are so many American foods, did you really have to pick one that isn't American at all?

I hate the phrase "works like a charm" to describe something working great, because charms don't do shit

I have had times where I thought I wanted to really keep up with new releases and constantly listen to whatever just dropped. But honestly that kind of listening just doesn't work for me. I need time for music to grow on me, I need to develop an attachment to an album to truly enjoy it.

I know my album is good when I start getting irrationally anxious about losing my hard drives and my backups. And when it starts bothering me that it's still gonna be a long while until I can share this music with the world.

My goal with key changes on this album is to make em so smooth that you can't tell they've happened until I bring back the intro riff and you go "Wait a sec, this is higher than the first time"
