The issue I see on my side is people acrivating automatically all new alpha functiuns by default.

I created more than hundred websites and high level ecommerce and never got any issues.

Peoples often overthink that plugins answer anything !

But norhing is perfect ;)

I think it all depends what you have to create for your needs

For a simple website others tools can do the job but WordPress helps a lot to centralize all in the same space
