yeah same! depends on how much of QOTD will get adapted... but speaking of jesse, in the end of the episode when they showed Guy's mother and she's a redhead, i had a tiny moment of thinking "oh it's HER" but that makes no sense in the narrative they established 😭

yes, they helped witches escape persecution, but that's saving supernatural beings from human violence, not being in rivalry with a vampire where you're trying to stop/kill him... i guess this makes a more engaging tv show, but i wonder how the founders feel about it (if they're the same as in TVC)

interesting thing they're doing in the talamasca show that i think is contradicting the books lore for that period: here talamasca is very proactive, not "we watch, we're always here and we do nothing" of an outdated academic institution that we see in QOTD for example
