...which is how you know she wasn't that dude 👀

Wait, something that basically guarantees you'll have status outside the US for longer than it will take the current regime to collapse *or* long enough to have a solid case for asylum if it doesn't?

Can't imagine why you'd want to do that.

Look if my house is gonna catch fire the place I want it to happen is literally in the shower while the water is running lol

IMO if you're willing to plug a 1500W fire hazard into a 15A wall plug* (hello, North Americans!), having a spot water heater for your shower isn't gonna faze you.

* Or worse, a power strip plugged into a 15A wall plug.

I don't think it's that wild, as long as everything is shielded and grounded properly?

Are there a lot of electrocutions due to faulty electric showers? I'd imagine it's the one thing they're designed to prevent, right?

I had to look this up, but it's fascinating - and honestly kind of an awesome use of tankless water heating; one of the big issues we had looking at whole-home tankless heaters was "how does it produce enough volume to shower?" but this entirely solves the problem by answering "it doesn't have to".

Yeeeeeeahhhhhh....

Not to mention I'd basically just be trading Microsoft lock-in or Valve lock-in.

And I already know how to turn off all the annoying bits of Windows (at least for now).

The irony is I already use Launcher but the directions are still super hand-wavey and I'm terrified of hardware and performance issues.

I've administered a Linux machine before but the amount of technical knowledge that all instructions for doing anything on Linux assume you have is bonkers.

If you have success with the Linux on the Desktop thing, please let us know how and what it took 🙏🏻

I keep looking, and everyone is like, "Playing games on Linux is so easy now!" and then I look at what it would take to get FFXIV running (not through Steam) and I'm like, "Your definition of 'easy' is very different than mine, ngl."

On the bright side maybe we'll get more Knights of Guinevere at some point?

I just read the plot synopsis and, wow, someone made that huh

Is it good that I have zero idea what you're talking about here?

#repostober 14: minha Nossa Senhora da Bicicletinha
Another illustration that is sorta like a saint, but in an estilized art nouveau style, of a woman in biker gear, holding her water bottle, with the words "my our lady of the tiny bicycle, give me balance".

Conveniently, for me, both are the same person*

*In the US, anyway; give her a couple of years and we'll have Canada too

(And yes I have both her US and CA numbers memorized.)

Ah, yes, but my point is there is almost certainly a "Big Naturals for Everyone" mod, and also, it's gonna be in like the top ten most downloaded list.

(To be fair, it might also change all of the characters to girls. But there WILL be a booba mod.)

(I'm just assuming but I've met gamers and I've met modders so I'm pretty confident even without checking)

"Installing one (1) mod from the front page of Nexus" does not count as a "theme" 😛

I just saw that exchange and, man, those were three very bad posts wrapped in each other. A veritable bad post turducken, where - if you'll let me stretch the metaphor - the chicken is an actual Nazi and the duck and the turkey are both too proud to disgorge the bird inside them and delete the post.
