That’s wonderful, it really was quite breathtaking to watch this morning!
Ahh thank you!🙏🏻

The new one Alargh Du will be with those two trouble makers for sure!
Ouch, hope the toe heals up soon. Only 6 months now until we can bring out the winter Osses again (which are frankly naughtier & more playful!)
Good turnout and lovely atmosphere for it last night!
St John’s Eve Torchlit Procession in Penzance last night. This marks the start of the week long Golowan festival here in West Cornwall.

One of 5 hedgehog hoglets born in Porthleven Harbour Hedgie Rescue. Named "Rambler" weighs 124g. Now in outside rehabilitation with Mum to be released back into the wild. Thankful to all small wildlife charities giving nature a helping hand.

The evening light & colour across our local beach is amazing this week. West Cornwall has been spectacular this May.

The Hal-an-tow.
The mystery play is performed during Helston’s Flora Day, the pageant starts at St John's Bridge and is performed at seven locations around the town. It was an absolute joy to follow it around this morning.
The magnificent Penzance May Horns last night in West Cornwall. The annual gathering of the community to chase the devil of winter away and welcome the coming of summer.🌞
Beltane blessings with Pensans Morris who danced the sun up & crowned their May Queen in Penzance this morning. A joyous affair to start the merry month of May.🌞

Our beautiful starlings are super busy with babies to feed, they run around our feet not in the slightest bit bothered.
We didn’t know they were even a thing before this week. Seems to be local gene-pool mutation prevalent, a friend had seen one in St Day recently.
We’ve been having regular visits this week from a leucistic magpie, my partner finally managed to get a phone pic of it from the kitchen this morning. The other magpies have been tolerating it so far, but not fully accepting as it’s different. At least it can feed here with all the other birds.
The boy hedgehogs have been at it again, although it seems to result in one being used as a football. The main culprit is fluffy pants who’s living his best thug life!
The Lady of Flowers during yesterday’s Gorsedh Kernow proclamation ceremony in Marazion, Cornwall.
The proclamation ceremony of Gorsedh Kernow took place in Marazion yesterday, ahead of the main cultural event later on this year. This is a tremendous honour for Marazion to host the bard’s cultural celebration again, the last time it was held here was I believe 30 years ago.
Bluebells at Sennen Cove. Today has been sublime.
