Flyer for the "Age Without Limits Celebration Event" on Wednesday 11th of June from 11am to 2pm at Leeds City Museum, Broderick Hall, Millennium Square, Leeds LS2 8BH. The event is hosted by the All Age Activists and celebrates Age Without Limits Day with the launch of the Ageing Well in Leeds 2026 Calendar. Activities include an opening address by Roger Harington of the Leeds Older People’s Forum, a screening of “Unseen” by Pishdaad Modarassi, a ukulele performance by Crossgates Good Neighbours, an interactive singing session by the Performance Ensemble, and a marketplace of age-friendly stalls. Free copies of the 2026 calendar will be given out. The event is free, open to all, and held in an accessible venue. Logos of Leeds Older People's Forum, Age Friendly Leeds, and Age Without Limits appear at the bottom.

Experiences of social care needs assessments among people with neurodegenerative conditions. Call for research participants. We want to hear the experiences of people living with neurodegenerative conditions or caring for a family member or friend with a neurodegenerative condition. Photo: two people sat on a bus. We want to explore the views and experiences of people living with a neurodegenerative condition and their unpaid carers, in the process of care needs assessments and their access to and use of subsequent care and support Why is this important? Social care needs assessment are a person’s gateway to accessing care and support to help them in their daily lives and as their condition progresses. What do I need to do as a participant? You will take part in a remote interview with a member of the research team via Microsoft Teams, at a time convenient to you. The interview will be audio-recorded and last a maximum of 45 minutes. Get involved. For further information, or to get involved in the study, please contact either Dr Clarissa Giebel (clarissa.giebel@liverpool.ac.uk) or Emma Williams (emma.williams2@liverpool.ac.uk).
